Review by DJ & TV personality Steve Penk

I have to say the more I hear this CD the more I like it. My comments are that this is so suited for the American market.

My favourite tracks and the songs I think would make the best single are 'Je Ne Sais Quoi' or 'Love Deep Flows'.

There is no question Margaux is a major talent. It's not a question of IF it happens it's more a question of WHEN.

Review by TV presenter Damian Thomas

I receive CD's from unsigned bands and artists all the time. All sending in the hope that I too will agree that they should sell a million copies and make them the stars they deserve to be. But sadly most of the time these bedroom made albums are poor and show a lack of talent and professionalism.

Margaux is a rare jewel indeed. Sparkling with talent and ambition and a voice that I could listen to until my dying day.

This lady is a cocktail of cultures born in Germany with French/Greek ancestry a mix that makes her voice what it is: exquisite.

This album can be raw and sexy with songs like 'My Difference' and 'Desperation' and then at the other end of the scale she can float across emotions of love and desire with songs like 'Fly Me To The Stars' and 'Love Deep Flows'. Welcome to the world of Margaux! Dive in and enjoy an excellent creation.

Someone make her a star! 9/10

Review by songwriter Martin Briley

I first heard Margaux's music in October 2001. I get to hear a lot of stuff before it gets signed and her songs stand head and shoulders above anything I've heard lately. I was immediately struck by her sultry vocal style which OOZED attitude, and maybe a little sex. I imagine she'll be compared to everyone from Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, to Martha Davis of the Motels.

The standout track for me was 'My Difference', it builds slowly and has melodies that have stuck in my head and never left! I can't wait to see her play live with her band, I understand she plays a Rickenbacker 12-String on stage, pretty cool.

Also, I recently got to hear a sneak preview of the album she's been recording in the U.K., even before being mixed it sounds great. Once again, the song that immediately appealed to my pop sensibilities was 'Je Ne Sais Quoi'. This is what some would refer to as a 'career-breaking single'. I find it eerily fateful that 'Quoi' rhymes so perfectly with 'Dubois' and the lyric goes on to mercilessly milk the whole French thing.

Brilliant.

I think Margaux is quite special, and I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing her playing live.
